Our President and Founder, Ricardo Baptista Leite, and Mariam Jashi, Chapter Chair for Eastern Europe and Central Asia, represented UNITE in Geneva during the 77th World Health Assembly.
Despite the sad outcome of the Pandemic Agreement not having been finalized, we stand hopeful that the negotiations throughout the next year will prove fruitful and, like the amendments to the International Health Regulations, it too can be approved for the benefit of the world.
Nevertheless, the week in Geneva was a success, as UNITE met with multiple long-standing and new partners, setting the stage for fantastic future opportunities, including the UNITE Global Summit.
