Considering the critical role of members of parliament in ensuring political commitment to and action towards universal health coverage, UNITE in collaboration with UHC2030 co-organized a focus group discussion.

During the session,  12 members of parliament were invited to answer three sets of actions, based on the draft action agenda of UHC2030. The 3 specific Action Areas were AA1: Champion Political leadership for UHC; AA3: Adopt Enabling Laws and Regulations and AA8: Connect UHC and Health Security.

The countries represented were Argentina, Bangladesh, Cameroon, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Ghana, Mexico, Morocco, Ukraine, Zimbabwe. Key changes proposed were then included in the
