UNITE member from Tanzania, Hon. Dr. Faustine Engelbert Ndugulile, has been nominated as the next Regional Director for the World Health Organization (WHO) African Region.
UNITE congratulates its member, Hon. Dr. Faustine Ndugulile, on his nomination as the next Regional Director for the World Health Organization (WHO) African Region.
With over 20 years of senior-level experience in Global Health both within Tanzania and at the international level, Dr. Ndugulile has served as a medical professional, public health specialist, and politician. Since 2023 he has been the Vice-Chair of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Advisory Group on Health.

As a Member of Parliament, Dr. Ndugulile held several important roles in Parliamentary Committees such as HIV/AIDS, substance abuse, and Social Services in Tanzania. He was also Minister for Communication and Information Technology and Deputy Minister-Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children.
