Last week, UNITE Member Hon. Dr. Faustine Ndugulile, Member of Parliament from Tanzania, was in Accra, Ghana, on a working visit. Our Regional Coordinator for the Africa Region, Abdul Karim Ibrahim, met with him to discuss important global health issues.
UNITE regional coordinator for Africa, Abdul Karim Ibrahim met with UNITE Member, Dr. Faustine Ndugulile (Hon MP, Tanzania) in Accra, Ghana. He was in Accra on a working visit.
The two discussed the pressing need for more funding to support critical global health advocacy and interventions especially in the Africa region.
Dr. Ndugulile commended the efforts of UNITE in this regard and challenged us to continue mobilizing Parliamentarians around global health issues. He reaffirmed his commitment to this task and assured UNITE of his support. Â
