UNITE and Universidad Austral are proud to announce the renewal of our joint Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), as a testament to the years of successful collaboration between both organizations, which first started in 2022.

During the past three years, UNITE and Universidad Austral have contributed towards the capacity building and awareness raising of UNITE Members and Parliamentary Staff in Latin America, on matters concerning global health and the importance of parliamentarians’ role in generating impact on urgent global health issues.

The highlight of this collaboration was the development of a new and innovative online Executive Course on Global Health Parliamentary Democracy, in 2023, which UNITE aims to renew in the near future.

UNITE is enthusiastic about another year of cooperating with Universidad Austral, while also striving to implement further partnerships with Academic Institutions in other regions of the globe, extending these opportunities to the other members of our network.
