UNITE member Hon. Éctor Jaime Ramírez Barba from México, participated in a webinar organized by the World Hepatitis Alliance (WHA). The event focused on the WHO’s new Global Health Sector Strategy on HIV, viral hepatitis, and sexually transmitted infections (STIs), which sets out interim 2025 targets that countries will need to work towards to end the epidemics by 2030.

“While it is true that our country is not entirely aligned to meet the 2030 goals, I believe that we are moving in the right direction.”
– Hon. Éctor Jaime Ramírez Barba,
