UNITE participated in an event organized by the Pandemic Action Network entitled “If Not Now, When? Actions for World Leaders to Safeguard Against Future Pandemics”.
UNITE’s Head of Policy and Partnerships, Gonçalo Pinto Mendes, explored the importance of the Pandemic Agreement and why Parliamentarians need to be more engaged on the topic, highlighting UNITE’s efforts on the matter over the past 2 years.
UNITE is deeply committed to supporting a consensus on the Pandemic Agreement, including by promoting its members’ engagement in the World Health Assembly taking place at the end of May.
